When will Honkai: Star Rail be released?
Players will be able to board the Astral Express space train and begin their journey in Honkai: Star Rail on April 26, 2023.

- 7 p.m. PST on Tuesday April 25 - West Coast NA
- 10 p.m. EST on Tuesday April 25 - East Coast NA
- 3 a.m. GMT on Wednesday April 26 - United Kingdom

- 11 a.m. UTC+8 on Wednesday April 26 - Singapore/Malaysia

What type of game is Honkai: Star Rail?
Despite being made by the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail is its own beast. Unlike Genshin Impact which is more of a hack-n-slash RPG, Honkai: Star Rail features turn-based combat and will lean rely more on strategy to win fights than button mashing.
Despite the differences in combat to Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail's gacha system looks incredibly similar to Genshin's. What is more, several of the characters from the previous Honkai title will make an appearance in the new live-service title.
