Former World of Warcraft lead producer joins Riot Games
After nearly four years at Blizzard Entertainment, including almost three years as a lead producer, Bartos has joined Riot Games as a senior game producer. The announcement was made on LinkedIn and X, where Bartos noted Riot Games' values from his very first conversation with the company. He also praised the interview process.
"From my very first conversation with Riot, I immediately gravitated toward their values — and I was genuinely impressed by how clearly those values showed up throughout the interview process," he wrote. "It made it obvious that kindness, respect, and care aren’t just words here, but something the team truly lives by."

Bartos then revealed that as a senior game producer at Riot Games, he'll be working on an MMO. He'll reunite with engineering manager Orlando Salvatore, who also used to work at Blizzard Entertainment.
"And as a fun bonus I’ve been barely able to contain: I’ll be re-queuing with my longtime duo partner, Orlando Salvatore," Bartos stated. "Given our track record on World of Warcraft, I have a feeling we’ll be moving fast on day one."
On LinkedIn, several folks at Riot Games welcomed Bartos to the team while others from the gaming industry congratulated him.
"Welcome home!" Salvatore stated on X as well. "Excited to get started again with you."
