Additional details

More than just a release window was revealed at Gamescom 2024 for Dune: Awakening. The game gave us an immersive look at the world of Arrakis and how players will have to attempt to survive on the planet.

With what seems to be a heat system, players will have to attempt to not stand in the sun for too long. Finding shade will be the best way to travel. Oh, and make sure to watch out for all the giant sandworms.

You can also fly ships around, exploring the planet at a higher level.

What's even more exciting, is the game has a multiplayer mode, allowing you to play alongside hundreds of other players.

The game also involves politics, as your character is devoted to the Harkonnen, an evil House that overruns the planet of Arrakis. Will you serve them at no cost? Or will you eventually rebel?
