College Football 26 release date and everything we know so far

EA Sports has officially announced that College Football 26 launches on July 10. Alabama's Ryan Williams and Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith star on the Standard Edition cover, while the Deluxe Edition honors legends such as Notre Dame's Marcus Freeman, Kirby Smart, and Ohio State’s Ryan Day. College Football 26 launches worldwide on July 10, staying in line with the franchise's summer release window. It also arrives slightly earlier than last year's game. According to EA Sports, the full College Football 26 reveal also drops on May 29!

Players can expect gameplay featuring all 136 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) schools and the full college football experience when College Football 26 launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

As noted, Williams and Smith, who had standout seasons at Alabama and Ohio State, respectively, are featured on the College Football 26 covers. The Deluxe Edition also features top coaches like Day, Freeman, and Kirby Smart alongside iconic players and mascots that represent the sport's culture. Past EA Sports cover stars such as Reggie Bush, Tim Tebow, and Denard Robinson also get the spotlight.

"As a lifelong fan of EA Sports games, being on the cover of College Football 26 is a dream come true,” Williams said. “It was incredible to see myself in College Football 25 last year, and now to represent Alabama and share this moment with fans who’ve played EA Sports games for years is unreal."

Smith also said that being on the cover of EA Sports College Football 26 is an honor. He's proud to represent Ohio State alongside Coach Day while carrying forward the Buckeye legacy.

Players can now pre-order the EA Sports MVP Bundle, which includes the Deluxe Editions of College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26 along with three-day early access and bonus content. Both the Standard and Deluxe Editions of College Football 26 are also available for pre-order.
