Captain America and Winter Soldier will be joining Marvel Rivals on launch.
It was revealed today during Gamescom 2024 that the popular Captain America and Winter Soldier will be joining the new Marvel Rivals shooter game on launch. Players will be able to utilize Winter Soldier's bionic arm or Captain America's famous shield when battling it out in the new game.
Gamescon 2024 revealed an epic trailer announcing the two characters' appearance in the upcoming game.
Captain America gets new look in Marvel Rivals
The trailer released gave fans a new look at Captain America, with the character being armored in a vibranium suit, making him look almost unstoppable. It will already be hard enough for opponents to get past his shield.
The trailer then showcased some of Captain America's unique abilities, like ramming through opponents with his shield and then taking them out with a swift throw.
It also seems like Bucky, known as Winter Soldier, has some pretty wild moves up his sleeve (or should we say... bionic arm).

In the new Marvel Rivals trailer, Winter Soldier is seen hopping around the map. It would seem like his powers allow him to jump higher than others, with various different abilities coming from his arm.
At one point, the character's arm extends like a grappling hook, grabbing onto platforms and other players. He is also shown shooting some type of laser from his arm and utilizing his infamous pistol.
I mean, Bucky is known for his aim.
The trailer gave us an exciting new look at the game and what it will include, with two of the biggest names in the Marvel universe now being playable on launch.
Marvel Rivals officially releases on December 6, 2024.
