New first-person shooter, FragPunk, is coming to Twitch Rivals

The brand-new first-person shooter game, FragPunk, just announced it is officially coming to Twitch Rivals. After a hot release, the game will now be entering the world of esports after Twitch Rivals announced the shooter will officially be having its own Rivals tournament.

FragPunk just found its first big esports tournament, and it is with one of the biggest companies out there: Twitch. The game announced on Twitter today that it will officially be having a Twitch Rivals tournament, and it begins in a few days.

The game, which is a 5v5 shooter, will pit some of the top streamers against one another in the new Twitch Rivals event. Players such as Shroud, TenZ, and more will be participating in the event.

So, when will the event be happening and how can fans watch? And what about the tournament's prize pool?

The FragPunk Twitch Rivals tournament is set to happen on March 13, 2025, and March 14, 2025. It is a two-day event with some of the biggest names in gaming competing against one another.

The event will begin on March 13 at 2 p.m. PST and start the next day (March 14) at 10 a.m. PST. For those on the East Coast, add three hours to each starting time and that will be the time for you that this tournament begins.

The event will be streamed live from Twitch Rival's official Twitch channel and FragPunk's official Twitch channel.

This is a free-to-watch event and will more than likely have different Twitch Drop rewards. However, nothing has been confirmed by Twitch or FragPunk yet.

No official prize pool has been disclosed for the event and there is a possibility that the event will actually have no prize pool and will just award players with bragging rights.

However, a prize pool could be announced within the next few days, so keep your eyes open.

Released back on March 6, 2025, FragPunk has quickly made its name known, as the 5v5 shooter has skyrocketed in popularity since its release. The game, like Marvel Rivals, has various heroes players can choose from, each player with their own unique ability.

The game marks a new milestone within the world of first-person shooters, as it shows there is still a growing fanbase for these types of games.
