We’ve gotten our first bit of information when it comes to FragPunk Chapter 1 Season 2, known as Wild Dawn.
It looks FragPunk may be following the Fortnite-style of content scheduling. It will go by Chapters, with FragPunk Chapter 1 Season 2 on the horizon. Season 1 was just the start with plenty to enjoy at launch, and now have some incite into what Season 2 will deliver.
Xin, the game producer for FragPunk, shared a blog post with plenty of details. Let's take a look at everything that was mentioned. Of course, we'll have to wait for a full reveal, as this is just a bit of a tease as to what is ahead.
The FragPunk team's main focus
The first part of the blog mentioned the main focus of the developer team. New content, feedback-based optimization, and a console release are the top priorities. Well, it looks like they are getting right into all of that.
A console version is coming soon, and things like hitmarker logic, enhanced hit reactions, and sprint adjustments have been updated to improve the overall game experience. And of course, they're fine tuning their anti-cheat the best they can.

We don't know exactly what is coming with FragPunk Chapter 1 Season 2, but we do know the gist of it. You can expect the following, with more details to come:
- New events with a simpler progression system for rewards
- A new map will join the Team Deathmatch rotation
- A high-skill, aggressive attacker will join the Lancer roster
- Outbreak mode will get a major upgrade
- New Classic Clash and Headshot Only arcade modes
- All Shard Cards are unlocked by default starting with Season 2
- A new Battlepass is set to arrive
- Ranks will reset
When does FragPunk Chapter 1 Season 2 release?
Lastly, we'll touch on the release date. You won't have to wait too much longer, as the new season kicks off near the end of April.
To coincide with the console launch of the game, April 29, 2025 is the date that FragPunk's Chapter 1 Season 2: Wild Dawn arrives for everyone.
