Jordan Lazarus, the CEO of Xen, talks his company’s success ahead of the Fortnite Global Championship, where two of his competitors are taking the mainstage.
Building an esports and gaming organization from the ground up is never an easy feat. With so many popular games and creators filling the void, it can be difficult to lay your hand on the right niche(s). However, for Jordan Lazarus, the CEO of Xen, Fortnite became the perfect avenue for the ambitious entrepreneur. And now, with two players competing in the 2025 Fortnite Global Championship event, the organization's success is even more prominent than ever.
As 2 Xen players compete in the 2025 Fortnite Global Championship, Jordan Lazarus recounts his organization's success
Xen is no stranger to the world of competitive Fortnite, as the organization has had players competing at the highest level for quite some time now. However, in this year's Global Championship, Xen has two players competing for the title.
"Xen has grown into the largest unfunded gaming organization in the world," said Jordan Lazarus, CEO of Xen, in an exclusive interview. "We started with no funding and no safety net, just the mindset that if we showed up every day and pushed harder than anyone else, we could build something special."

The team's success has not gone under the radar, either, as Xen has some of the biggest creators and competitors within the gaming and Fortnite scenes. In fact, the team's two players competing in this year's Global Championship, Rapids and Boltz, are playing alongside the seasoned veteran, Khanada, making them one of the top trios to watch ahead of this weekend's tournament.
"I couldn’t be prouder of this trio. They’ve shown incredible resilience and consistency, proving themselves with back-to-back first-place finishes in cups heading into this weekend. Now it’s their moment to shine on the biggest stage, and show the world why they’re among the very best."
Lazarus's ambition has brought Xen to this moment, allowing the team to celebrate such a massive success story.
