Only a few hours remain in the Fortnite Titan Takedown experience!

Fortnite's Titan Takedown update is rapidly winding down, despite Chapter 6 Season 1 not ending until late February. Those looking to become or battle against Godzilla have just a few hours left before the Kaiju leaves the game potentially forever. Here is everything you need to know about when Godzilla is leaving Fortnite.

When is Godzilla leaving Fortnite?

Today, Jan. 30, is the final day for Fortnite's Titan Takedown experience. The Kaiju will immediately disappear from the game once the next update arrives on Jan. 31. You can continue enjoying it for the rest of the day.

Although Epic Games has yet to announce when downtime will begin, we expect it will occur early on Jan. 31. We should learn more about when the Fortnite servers will go offline over the coming hours. Once that happens, Godzilla will officially be leaving Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

However, it's not all bad since Fortnite OG Season 2 launches on Jan. 31, marking the return of Tilted Towers.

Epic Games has increased Godzilla's spawn rate to 100%

Epic Games has increased the giant reptile's spawn rate to 100%, with the Godzilla leaving Fortnite in just a few hours. The developers previously decreased his spawn rate to 60%, but readjusted it for the final day. That means you will see the portal spawn in every Battle Royale and Zero Build match.

Once that happens, you have minutes to be the first player through the portal. The Godzilla Medallion will likely exit the loot pool when the Titan Takedown update concludes. However, those looking to acquire the Godzilla skin and other cosmetics have until the end of Chapter 6 Season 1 in late February.
