South Park is coming to Fortnite. Everyone knew this. However, it looks like there may be more to the collaboration than we realized.
We already know that the raunchy cartoon, South Park, is going to be making its official introduction into the world of Fortnite. However, it would seem as if leakers have discovered a bit more news regarding the upcoming collaboration.
South Park to have mini-pass in Fortnite
Leaked by popular Twitter leaker, HYPEX, it would seem as if the South Park x Fortnite collaboration has more than just skins and cosmetics that will be purchasable in the Item Shop. In fact, the collaboration will have an entire mini-pass for players to purchase, meaning people can unlock quite a few South Park-themed rewards when playing Fortnite.
A mini-pass is similar to a Battle Pass, but obviously, much smaller.
While there are no details yet on what the mini-pass will hold, many are hoping it has some of the most iconic South Park characters, including Cartman, Stan, Kyle and (of course) Kenny.
However, we do know some additional information regarding the collaboration, and that is that the game will also have a unique Battle Bus during it and multiple Mythics scattered across the island.
While we have zero idea what any of this means for the game, it has left players and fans of the popular TV show extremely excited, awaiting the collaboration's release.
South Park x Fortnite release date
At the moment, there is no official release date for the South Park x Fortnite collaboration. However, with it being so prevalent that it will have a unique Battle Bus and Mythics, we could definitely see the collaboration be part of the next season, which won't premiere for another few months.
Regardless, Fortnite is notorious for dropping new material on us out of the blue, meaning this collaboration could happen anywhere from tomorrow to years from now. All we know is that it is confirmed and in the files.
