Sketch’s “What’s up brother?” is coming to Fortnite as an Emote!
Two new Icon Series Emotes based on the popular content creator Kylie "Sketch" Cox are coming to Fortnite. Known chiefly for his Madden and IRL content, Sketch has recently dabbled in OG Fortnite.
It was only a matter of time before the creator's iconic catchphrases and motions entered the game. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Sketch Fortnite Emotes.
First look at the Sketch Fortnite Emotes
Sketch's patented "What's up, brother?" is one of the two Emotes you will find in Fortnite when they launch on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m. ET. It wouldn't be a true collaboration with the words that took over the internet and even traditional media in 2024. Sketch also appeared alongside fellow streamer Kai Cenat in an ad for Fortnite Reload, and he was sure to ask the question.
The other Emote included in this partnership revolves around Sketch's signature lean forward and arm flap. This would typically accompany the line "Special teams, special plays, special players," but that sound queue was omitted. Instead, both Emotes utilize the "What's up, brother?" but there are two different inflections.

How much will they cost?
According to leakers, each Sketch Fortnite Emote will cost 400 V-Bucks when they land in the Item Shop on Jan. 11. That is a fairly reasonable cost for Icon Series Emotes. This collection includes everything from TikTok dances to the Chicken Dance. It will soon welcome Sketch to the Icon Series, with potentially more on the horizon.
Epic Games also has a proper Icon Series skin classification, including various celebrities, athletes, and content creators. These collaborations typically appear with some build-up beforehand. The variety streamer could join the club with creators such as Nick Eh 30, Ninja, and SypherPK already in Fortnite. For now, Sketch will settle for a pair of Fortnite Icon Series Emotes.
