Free Guy and Dude are making their presence felt in Fortnite.
Epic Games has added Free Guy quests in Fortnite, allowing players to unlock (Ryan Renolds) The Good Guy’s emote in-game. ‘The Dude’ has a free emote and a new outfit that’s available in the item shop. Players can get the free emote by completing certain quests in-game.
The Guy from Free Guy saving Free City
Free Guy is a movie about video games where Ryan Renolds starts off believing he is just a regular guy. Named ‘Guy’ in a city called “Free city”, the movie feels like the default setting on a Sims open-world type game.
How to get Ryan Renolds emote in Fortnite?
Fortnite players have a chance to earn the emote by completing certain quests. Players have to search for ATM machines all over the map and follow Guy’s instructions to complete these quests.
ATM machines are available at almost every POI in the map. Players need to complete five different quests to earn the Free Guy emote.
Complete the following quests to earn the free emote:
- Get hit by a moving vehicle.
- Place coins around the map x 3.
- Reboot or revive teammates, or interact with campfires.
- Take melee damage.
- Talk with any NPC.
- Use Emote near the opponent.
Where to place coins in Fortnite?
There are several locations where players can place coins around the map. But players need to place coins at only three locations. Some locations where Fortnite players can place coins are as follows:
- Retail Row
- Lazy Lake
- Misty Meadows
- Pleasant Park
- Believer Beach
- Craggy Cliffs
- Holly Hedges
Pleasant Park and Believer Beach have two coin-placement locations each. But in any scenario, no POI contains more than two places to put coins, so players will have to travel a bit to complete this quest.
The Free Guy emote is available till September 6, 2021. Players can also purchase a Free Guy skin from the item shop for 1200 V-Bucks.
