Fortnite is adding a new version of gaming legend Ninja’s Icon Series skin while adding Ninja-inspired weapons to the loot pool!
Fortnite legend Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has made it abundantly clear of late that he and Fortnite were working toward another partnership. Several of the creator’s tweets have centered around the game’s ultra-popular Blitz Royale game mode. Sure enough, we now have confirmation that another Fortnite skin based on Ninja’s Icon Series collaboration is coming soon.
Here is everything we know about Fortnite’s reinvented crossover with one of its most popular creators in history.
An alternate version of Ninja’s Fortnite Icon Skin is coming soon, but not the low-taper fade
It’s no secret that Ninja’s Icon Series collaboration is somewhat forgotten in recent memory. Since he joined Fortnite in 2019, several other celebrities, content creators, musicians, and athletes have had the same experience of becoming a Fortnite skin.
Even more interesting is that several of these Icon Series members have received updated versions and alternate styles while Ninja sat on the sidelines. The wait for an updated version of a skin created by the original creator will soon come to an end.
Ninja himself confirmed today that a black and gold variant of his Fortnite Icon Series skin will be available in the Item Shop on July 29 at 8 p.m. ET. Players who already own Ninja’s Outfit will receive the variant for free, while those who don’t will have the opportunity to purchase it.
This update goes live at 4 p.m. ET on Aug. 4, and those who enjoy the Blitz Royale game mode are in for a treat.

- Ninja's Trash Launcher
- Ninja's Get Good Shotgun
- Ninja's Blue Goo Gun
- Ninja's More Movement Bomb

The most notable references from the list above include Ninja frequently calling his opponents "trash" while motivating them to "get good." However, nothing beats the "More Movement Bomb," an obvious nod to that fateful New Year's Eve event back in 2019.
