Mechagodzilla and Kong skins are coming to Fortnite very soon. Here’s what you can expect and how much they will cost!
Fortnite's upcoming collaboration with Godzilla x Kong is a multi-level partnership that includes in-game and cosmetic offerings. We already know Godzilla will soon be unlockable via the Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass, but recent leaks in the scene have indicated more plans. Mechagodzilla and the giant ape Kong will soon become Fortnite skins. Here is everything you can expect from these upcoming cosmetics.
First look at Mechagodzilla and Kong in Fortnite
Following the initial leak, the Mechagodzilla and Kong Fortnite assets were decrypted, giving us a look at the entire collection. As expected, this version of Kong has the B.E.A.S.T. Glove from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. The Mechagodzilla skin utilizes the character's look from Godzilla vs. Kong.

When will the Mechagodzilla and Kong Fortnite skins be available?
Fortnite leaker Jorge_Most has reported that Mechagodzilla and Kong will land in the Item Shop on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. ET. This aligns with the upcoming Godzilla Mythic and boss fight teased by Fortnite in the v33.20 update. Also, it's worth noting that the Battle Pass version of Godzilla will be unlockable on Jan. 17.
This Fortnite collaboration will include various cosmetics in addition to the Mechagodzilla and Kong skins, such as a pair of Pickaxes and even an Emote. Thankfully, Jorge_Most has provided the pricing, so you will know what to expect.

Mechagodzilla and Kong will be available in Fortnite as a bundle or as separate skins on Jan. 16. The bundle will contain everything, including both skins, two Pickaxes, two Wraps, and an Emote. That will cost you 2,800 V-Bucks, according to Jorge_Most. The two characters are based on their recent versions in the Warner Bros. MonsterVerse
