Mariah Carey is Fortnite’s newest Icon Series member!
Six-time Grammy Award-winning artist Mariah Carey is coming to Fortnite, according to leaks during the v33.11 downtime. The iconic singer of "All I Want For Christmas" will arrive as a purchasable skin for its annual Winterfest event, which kicks off on Friday, Dec. 20.
Although unexpected, Fortnite typically goes all-out for its annual holiday celebrations. Pairing an Icon Series skin with an All I Want For Christmas Jam Track is perfect for the most wonderful time of the year.

Mariah Carey is the newest Fortnite Icon Series skin, and she will land in the Item Shop on Friday, Dec. 20. Her in-game appearance draws from her outfit in the "All I Want For Christmas" music video.There is a standard and reactive skin version, giving you some variety when dropping in as her. The other cosmetics involved in the Mariah Carey Fortnite set have not been decrypted yet, but we expect to learn more.

Even crazier than a Mariah Carey skin is that the singer's in-game character model is on the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 map, frozen in a massive ice block. According to leaks, Mariah Carey will emerge and perform an in-game event during Winterfest 2024 once the ice block melts.
On top of the skin and event, players will receive a free "All I Want For Christmas" Emote by talking to the Mariah Carey NPC after the event concludes.
This news is just the beginning, as Epic Games has confirmed the return of the beloved Winterfest Cozy Cabin, where players can open presents to receive free in-game items. The annual holiday event begins on Dec. 20 and concludes on Jan. 7. Oh, and don't forget that Skibidi Toilet is also coming to Fortnite.
