LEGO Fortnite meets GTA in the upcoming Brick Life game mode!
Epic Games has announced several updates to LEGO Fortnite, including a rebrand for the main survival game mode and a new addition called Brick Life. Arriving on Dec. 12, Fornite Brick Life is a social roleplay experience where up to 32 players can "live in a bustling city."
There is much to do, from creating a home to acquiring jobs in this city environment. Although we don't have a blog post to analyze yet, here's what we know about LEGO Fortnite's new Brick Life game mode.
What to expect in LEGO Fortnite's Brick Life update
The Grand Theft Auto (GTA) inspiration is paramount in the first official Fortnite Brick Life trailer. From the font to the visuals, it's clear that Epic Games took liberties from the iconic series while gamers anxiously await more details about GTA 6. The trailer showcases a free-roam experience equipped with driveable vehicles, a fitness center, the ability to build your lifestyle, and even what looks like jewelry heists.
Here is the Brick Life description per an official press release by Epic Games:
On December 12 LEGO Fortnite Brick Life goes live, a brand new social roleplay game where up to 32 players can live it up in the heart of a bustling city in Fortnite. Players can explore vibrant areas throughout the city, customize their dream home, take on jobs and interact with friends and other players through text chat. LEGO Fortnite Brick Life is an ever-evolving experience and will receive new content updates over time including new jobs, resources and events.
This game mode injects new life into LEGO Fortnite and looks promising. It gives players free rein to do what they'd like, including completely customizing their experience. Fortnite Brick Life also pays homage to classic LEGO games with its aesthetic and gameplay.
