Fortnite has fully indulged itself within Japanese culture in Chapter 6, Season 1. While we already have a sword to swing around, the game has decided to bring back the infamous Kinetic Blade, which has not been in the game for two years.
However, players are ecstatic about this addition, as the Kinetic Blade was a huge hit back in Chapter 4. Here is everything you need to know about the Kinetic Blade and where to find it in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1.
Kinetic Blade: The history of the famous Fortnite weapon
Released back in March of 2023, the Kinetic Blade helped shape Chapter 4, Season 2 of Fortnite. Not only did the weapon become incredibly popular in competitive for movement, but it became widely used by all players, whether it was Zero Build or Battle Royale.
The blade does 75 damage to players when slashed, and quite a bit of damage to structures. However, many did not use the weapon for its attack, but mainly for its movement.
The Kinetic Blade has three dashes, then a cooldown time of 10 seconds. Those dashes allow players to fly through the air without taking fall damage. It became a staple for competitive rotates.
Now, the infamous weapon has been added back to Fortnite, which is incredibly fitting considering this entire season is based around Japanese culture.
