Leakers are theorizing that IShowSpeed may reveal a Fortnite collab on Dec. 24 following some cryptic posts.
Internet personality and content creator IShowSpeed could reveal a Fortnite collab on Christmas Eve. This report arrived after a few cryptic hints dropped by Speed himself about his next live stream, in which he plans to revisit his “first stream ever.”
Many have put two and two together, considering IShowSpeed’s inaugural livestream was Fortnite. Here’s what we know about the situation.
Leakers believe IShowSpeed may announce his Fortnite collab and skin on Dec. 24
Few anticipated right off the bat that this exchange referenced the Fortnite x IShowSpeed crossover that reportedly “leaked” a while back, and the creator has discreetly addressed. However, when Fortnite leaker HYPEX chimed in, theorizing that this livestream could be the moment, it became a real possibility.
Although the evidence is minimal at best, HYPEX stated that IShowSpeed is “likely” to get a Fortnite skin on Dec. 24. That’s a lot to draw from a post from Speed’s alleged alt account, called ronaldobetter07, discussing the topic of his next stream.
As a result, HYPEX’s post and the follow-ups from other leakers give the impression that the leaker knows more than he’s letting on. ShiinaBR later posted that three unknown sets are encrypted, indirectly suggesting that one could be the Fortnite IShowSpeed collab.
If true, Speed would join the Icon Series alongside other creators and celebrities like CouRageJD, Kai Cenat, Playboi Carti, Kim Kardashian, and more. Unfortunately, that’s about all the information that’s available currently, but there could be more behind this collab than meets the eye.
IShowSpeed Africa Tour begins on Dec. 29
Speed has gained a reputation for going on IRL world tours with his crew while documenting most of his days and nights. He recently completed a tour of America and will head to Africa on Dec. 29 for a new adventure.
It stands to reason that revealing his Fortnite collab five days before this tour would benefit him. This would be an ideal promotional tool, similar to Kai Cenat's use of his Icon Series announcement to promote his Mafiathon 3 subathon.
Ultimately, we’ll have to wait and see what Speed has in store for his fans and subscribers on Dec. 24.
