There are many new collaborations and musical events in store for Fortnite players. After the Big Bang event, The Weeknd will kick off Fortnite Festival Season 1 as the game’s first Music Icon when the game goes live on December 9, 2023.

Players will be able to experience the Fortnite x The Weeknd concert on December 9, 2023. The concert is the first in a series of concerts planned by Epic Games to launch the Fortnite Music Festival.
The Fortnite Music Festival will kick off with the Fortnite x The Weeknd concert. But fans can expect many more musicians to join the list in subsequent events. Fortnite has experimented with live concerts in the past featuring Travis Scott, Ariana Grande and more.
Built by Harmonix, the studio behind the iconic music game Rock Band, Festival marks the beginning of music gaming in Fortnite.
Epic Games is yet to confirm what music gaming in Fortnite means, but it may hint at a potential new game mode. Or it could just be a series of events where players can tune in with friends to experience a music concert but from the comfort of their homes.
