Fortnite x South Park will soon come to life in a collaboration not many would have expected! Here’s what we know about it!
Fortnite is no stranger to collaborations some would classify as unlikely, including Kill Bill and RoboCop, just to name a few. However, nothing could have prepared the community for a Fortnite x South Park crossover.
The question is: how will it work, and to what extent will Fortnite collaborate with the raunchy animated sitcom? Details have begun to emerge about all of this and more. Here is everything you need to know.
What will the Fortnite x South Park collaboration entail?
A shocking amount of information has come to light ahead of the collaboration. For one, all four of the main characters: Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny will factor into the crossover. According to HYPEX, they will pilot mech suits as their Fortnite skins, similar to Morty from the Rick and Morty collab and Bart Simpson.
Furthermore, a Mythic item called the Stick of Truth will spawn in the game. This is an obvious nod to the 2014 video game South Park: The Stick of Truth. However, it's unclear how it will work as an in-game Fortnite item.
Lastly, HYPEX confirmed a "Rift anomaly" that references the many deaths of Kenny throughout the series. The leaker elaborated on this component, stating there will be a respawn token that respawns you when you die in-game.

When will the collaboration launch?
Unfortunately, none of the Fortnite x South Park leaks have pointed to a specific date. Some have reported that it will drop in December, but we will have to wait for more on that. Fortnite Winterfest 2025 will begin soon, so there could be a link between this event and South Park.
Alternatively, Epic Games might be saving this monumental collaboration until 2026, where it will draw the South Park fandom in to see what it's all about. Until then, you now have an idea of what Fortnite has in store when the boys from South Park arrive in Chapter 7.
