The Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration has leaked. Here’s your first look!

The Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration has officially leaked, and there’s a lot to cover. From in-game skins to actual items, this unexpected partnership has something for everyone based on the leaks that have surfaced. This article explains everything you need to know.

First look at the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean skins

You can’t have a Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration without Captain Jack Sparrow. Thankfully, the crossover features him prominently alongside a pair of other characters. Additionally, Jack Sparrow’s famous run will become a Fortnite Emote in the new update

Here’s a look at the Jack Sparrow skin via HYPEX:

Based on the image, Jack Sparrow has a regular and skeleton style, two Emotes, a Back Bling, Emoticon, and Pickaxe. He’ll also be selectable in LEGO Fortnite for those who purchase the skin, which appears to be available via an Event Pass.

The Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean crossover extends to series villain Davy Jones, Captain Barbossa, and Elizabeth Swann. However, it’s unclear which skins and items will be available in the Item Shop versus the Event Pass.

According to HYPEX, Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean cosmetics will debut in the Item Shop on July 18, so we’ll have to wait and see what’s included.

In addition to the skins mentioned above, the Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration will influence the gameplay. Also reported by HYPEX, Fortnite plans to add a new “Ship in a Bottle” item during the June 22 update.

The item description says that it’s a “cursed ship trapped in a bottle. Open it to unleash the ship from its ghostly depths, diving into your opponents with a devastating crash!”

That’s all the information we know at the moment, but be sure to check back for more.
