More Metal Gear characters are coming to Fortnite soon, according to rumors!
There is no limit to what Epic Games and Fortnite can acquire as an in-game collaboration. We've seen crossovers with Jujutsu Kasien, Hatsune Miku, and Godzilla this year. A recent rumor in the scene indicates that another installment to the Fortnite x Metal Gear Solid collaboration could happen soon.
Here is everything we know about this potential crossover and some characters we expect.
Fortnite x Metal Gear wave 2 is reportedly coming soon
These rumors arrived courtesy of NotPaloleaks, who has an accurate track record. This leaker has previously detailed the Shaquille O'Neal collaboration, amongst others. While the details are minimal, he wrote that Metal Gear "is getting a second wave."
The timing on the latest Fortnite x Metal Gear crossover makes sense, considering the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, titled Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which launches on Aug. 28. Epic Games usually works with other game developers on these collaborations as somewhat of a marketing opportunity.
Unfortunately, apart from the rumors, NotPaloleaks said details about characters are "coming soon."
