Epic Games has quickly followed up the Fortnite v29.01 update with another just one week later. On Tuesday, March 26, Fortnite will launch the v29.10 patch, with some crucial changes coming to the LEGO game mode. Furthermore, Super Styles and the Guardians of the Galaxy from the Marvel Universe are in on the fun.

New weapons and a Mythic in Fortnite v29.10
Fortnite leaker HYPEX revealed that the Hand Cannon has returned via the Fortnite v29.10 update alongside a new item called "Banana of the Gods." The latter is described as "a forbidden delicacy reserved for the Olympians; restores health over time and increases sprint speed and jump height."
HYPEX referenced the Mythic Waterbending ability in the post, but this item is now currently in the game. Lastly, the Mythic Midas Drum Gun is available in the game from the Midas NPC for 600 Gold.
LEGO Fortnite introduces drivable vehicles
The Fortnite v29.10 marks the long-awaited debut of vehicles in LEGO Fortnite. Players can now build different modes of transportation to traverse the various landscapes.
Here is a list of the vehicles and some additional tidbits of information:
- Speeder
- Offroader
- Hauler
Items required to build and drive vehicles (found in the "Build" menu)
- Power Center
- Wheels
- Seats
- Compost Bin – Deposit old items here to unlock the Power Cell recipe (used to power your vehicle)
You can also craft a Wrench using a Wooden Rod to control your vehicle's thrusters. Additionally, an Illuminator can be created using a Thermal Fish, which helps light the way for your vehicle.
New Guardians of the Galaxy bundle heading to Fortnite
Initially, it was reported that Drax The Destroyer from the Guardians of the Galaxy series would receive a Fortnite skin. However, leakers uncovered that Drax, Groot, and Mantis are all coming to Fortnite as part of a purchaseable bundle. Although the release date is unknown, you can see the cosmetics above.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Super Styles unveiled
Battle Pass Super Styles are usually included in each Fortnite season. These alternate versions of the core Battle Pass skins give players something more to work toward. The Stygian, Olympian, and Titanflame Super Styles will soon be available in the "Bonus Rewards" section of the Battle Pass.

GAMEPLAY
- New smart transfer feature: transfer all similar items to and from storage.
- It's easier to visually tell when your constructs take damage.
- With the new vehicle building features, we had to adjust some durability values. We recommend using higher-rarity resources to strengthen your constructs if any part breaks.
- Items can be dropped one at a time when a stack is picked up.
- Pools of fish can be found near new (but somehow already run-down) docks that are alongside lakes and rivers.
- Made improvements to constructs so they remain stable when entering and exiting caves.
- Made stabilization fixes for constructs traveling large distances across the world.
OTHER
- The Stormy Emote will be updated to its full, intended animation in LEGO Fortnite.
