Where is Midas in Fortnite Season 2?

Here is how to find Midas in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2!

The Fortnite v29.01 update has officially arrived alongside the return of Midas. This fan-favorite character debuted in Chapter 2 Season 2, but remained absent from the game for four years. Today's patch welcomed Ascendant Midas into the game with a mini-story and Quests for players to enjoy. Additionally, you can find the Ascendant Midas non-player character (NPC) in the game, and this article explains where.

Where is Midas in Fortnite's latest update?

Those looking to find and interact with Ascendant Midas in Fortnite can head to "The Marigold" Yacht on the map's most western part. You can find the Midas NPC roaming the area, but we located him on the top deck. Below, we have provided a video of us landing on The Marigold and interacting with Ascendant Midas.

What does Midas offer?

Like most Fortnite NPCs, Midas offers a purchasable service and item. The first is an Epic Drum Gun for 300 Gold, a returning weapon in the v29.01 update. Ascendant Midas will also heal you, but we were fully healed in this game, so there was no use for that in this scenario. All NPCs also provide a free item; in this case, we received a Shield Potion.

You may encounter issues when approaching Midas, considering this is a new update and this character has finally returned after four years. Regardless, you will eventually have the opportunity to speak with Midas. It's worth purchasing the Drum Gun as it's a solid weapon.
