Toy Story is coming to Fortnite on April 10 for the first time ever. Here is a complete overview of what to expect when it drops!
Pixar’s most iconic IP is coming to Fortnite this Friday, April 10, when the Toy Story collab officially lands in-game. Details regarding what appears to be the first of a few waves of this crossover include the father-and-son duo of Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg. Additionally, the always-recognizable Pizza Planet Truck will become a drivable vehicle in Fortnite. This is a pivotal moment as Disney continues expanding into Fortnite.
A complete overview of the Toy Story Fortnite collab

When the Item Shop resets on Friday, April 10, at 8 p.m. EDT, all players will see Buzz Lightyear and Zurg arrive in Fortnite for the first time ever. The timing couldn’t be better, considering Toy Story 5 arrives in theaters on June 19. Although we are only aware of the characters, leakers have confirmed a few additional cosmetics.
The other items include Pickaxes, Back Blings, Emotes, and one Glider. As usual, you will likely have the option to purchase each cosmetic individually or the entire Bundle at an unknown price. Epic Games is also adding the Aliens, also known as the Little Green Men, as Sidekicks, and there will be Alien-inspired Kicks.

Lastly, as mentioned above, wave one of the Toy Story Fortnite collab will include the Pizza Planet Truck. Unfortunately, the cosmetics have not been decrypted yet, so we’ll have to wait for the first look.
- Buzz Lightyear Outfit
- Emperor Zurg Outfit
- Two Pickaxes
- Two Back Blings
- Two Emotes
- One Glider
- Alien Sidekick
- Alien Kicks
- Pizza Planet Truck
As for how much they will cost, the best comparison we could offer is The Incredibles collab. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible both ring in at 1,500 V-Bucks, while Frozone is 1,800 V-Bucks. It’s safe to assume the Buzz and Zurg skins will be somewhere in that range.
Why isn’t Woody included in the first wave?

It’s bizarre to see a Toy Story collab that doesn’t include Woody, but it appears he will have to sit out wave one. We’ve seen similar situations in the past, where an iconic character from an IP doesn’t arrive until later. Although Woody’s absence seems strange, he will likely follow sometime between now and Toy Story 5’s release date.
What other Pixar characters are in Fortnite?

Epic Games’s ongoing partnership with Disney has paved the way for many characters to join the game’s expansive roster. On the Pixar side, we’ve seen three skins from The Incredibles, and, more recently, a crossover with the film Hoppers. These few cosmetics merely scratch the surface of what’s on the horizon.
Toy Story is unquestionably the most notable Pixar IP to enter the Fortnite realm, and we expect others to follow.
