The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are coming to Fortnite, according to leaks and in-game teasers. While this rumor dates back almost two years, Fortnite appears ready to move forward with the heroes in a half-shell. Recent leaks in the scene have provided a complete picture of what to expect when the Fortnite x TMNT collaboration and skins launch, and here is all we know.

Fortnite TMNT skins: First look and release date

Fortnite leakers ShiinaBR and HYPEX are responsible for the latest on the Fortnite TMNT skins. The former provided a complete in-game screenshot of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Each character possesses a personalized description, which you can see below:

  • Raphael – Always ready for a fight and a master with sai.
  • Michelangelo – Rad skateboarder and a master with nunchucks who is always ready to party.
  • Leonardo – Dedicated team leader and a master with a katana.
  • Donatello – Tech expert, automotive genius, and a master with a bo staff.

Epic Games has not revealed a release date for the Fortnite TMNT skins. However, many leakers have said the cosmetics will launch on December 14. We expect to hear more from Epic Games in the coming days.

Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: A brief history

The first indication of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover occurred in January 2022 via the XboxEra Podcast. A podcast member confirmed that Epic Games and Fortnite reached a deal for future collaborations. Since then, Paramount properties such as Transformers and Terminator have collaborated with Fortnite. Almost one full year later, the Fortnite x TMNT crossover is ready to go.
