The heroes in a half shell are coming back to Fortnite VERY soon!

Fortnite’s next collaboration is on the horizon, bringing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back into the equation for the second time this season. While you can spot some TMNT easter eggs in Fortnite currently, Epic Games has officially teased the event start date. Additionally, leakers have provided details on what you can expect when the Ninja Turtles return. Here is everything you need to know about the Fortnite x TMNT event ahead of the February 9 start date.

Fortnite x TMNT Quests are now live

Fortnite has released a new set of Quests that you can complete in-game. Each challenge relates to the upcoming Fortnite x TMNT collaboration, and you will earn 10K per completed Quest. Players have six days, beginning on Friday, February 2, to finish them.

Here is a complete list of the challenges:

  • Talk to April – 10,000 XP
  • Hide in Sewer entrances – 10,000 XP
  • Visit the Underground HQ – 10,000 XP

What to expect when the event begins: Shredder, mini Battle Pass, and more

Based on the in-game countdown, the Fortnite x TMNT event begins on February 9 at 9 a.m. ET. You can view the event in-game by clicking the TMNT icon between “Play” and “Locker” from your Fortnite lobby. Although you’ll only find a countdown, leakers have provided some details for the collaboration.

First and foremost, The Shredder is expected to join the growing list of Fortnite skins, which already includes the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and April O’Neil. A few images of the Fortnite Shredder skin have surfaced, and he looks true to form, but the rest of his cosmetics are unknown.

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the Fortnite x TMNT event having a separate tab in the game could mean a mini Battle Pass is on the way. We’ve seen something similar with the Fortnite Festival Pass and the Star Wars Find The Force event. However, the contents of this presume TMNT Battle Pass are a mystery.

We expect to learn more over the coming days and will update accordingly.
