Fortnite is bringing Street Fighter’s Blanka and Sakura to the island


Popular Street Fighter skins Blanka and Sakura will be available this week within Fortnite’s item shop.

Fortnite once again collaborates with the popular series 'Street Fighter'. Within the past year, the popular Battle Royale has collaborated with Street Fighter a multitude of times, bringing forth some classic skins for players to play with. This time, they are bringing beloved characters 'Blanka' and 'Sakura' to the game.
Here is everything you need to know about Fortnite's latest Street Fighter collaboration.

Where to get the Street Fighter skins in Fortnite

The two skins are set to release in the item shop on April 28 at 8 pm EST. Players looking to get the skins earlier will have the chance to compete in the Blanka and Sakura Cup, where top players will unlock the skins for free.
Here is a list of everything included in the skin bundles:

  • Blanka Delgado (alt style)
  • Blanka Backflip Emote
  • Blanka-Chan Back Bling
  • Tropical Hazard Kebab Pickaxe
  • Sakura Outfit
  • Sakura Gym (alt style)
  • Sakura's Victory Sway Emote
  • Hanakaze Claw Back Bling
  • Fighting Tournament Trophy Pickaxe
  • Kayari Buta Glider
Whether you are a die-hard Street Fighter fan or are not familiar with the game, the pleasing and fun aesthetics brought from these skins will make them enjoyable for everyone

Information on the Blanka and Sakura Cup

The Blanka and Sakura Cup will be held in two different versions. The first version is on Wednesday, April 27, and is a mobile-only tournament. Players that do not play on mobile will not be able to participate.
If you are a console or PC player and we're hoping to have a chance to win these skins for free, do not worry. Fortnite is hosting a second version of the tournament on Thursday, April 28. Players on all platforms will be able to compete to win the skins.
Once the second tournament is over, the skins will be officially available for purchase within the Epic Game's store.
