Fortnite just posted quite the vulgar ad, making players question whether or not the game is actually as kid-friendly as it seems.

Fortnite always makes some surprising moves, but this one was a bit out there even for them. The popular Battle Royale released a rather vulgar ad, which was then taken down by them less than two hours after its release.

Fortnite removes vulgar ad only a few hours after releasing it

Fortnite has kept its content relatively clean over the past years. In fact, the game has never implemented aspects such as blood and gore despite being a shooter-style game. However, the popular Battle Royale threw fans a curveball today with a new ad that featured some vulgar language.

And then, the ad disappeared less than two hours later after Fortnite took it down from the internet.

So, what was the ad? Surely, it had to be quite vulgar for Fortnite to take it down as quickly as they did. Well, luckily, quite a few Twitter users took screenshots of it before the game deleted the ad from YouTube.

"**** the Dark Voyager." This was the first vulgar comment thrown into the ad. While the swear word was censored with asterisks, it should be quite easy for anyone to guess just what was said. It then said the quote was directly from the Bus Driver.

However, the Bus Driver was not the only one to give his comments.

Additional quotes

A few other (obviously fake) comments were released by different Fortnite characters. In the trailer, you were able to get a direct quote from FN Posting and Jonesy. Jonesy, one of Fortnite's most favorite characters, expressed his excitement for the game by exclaiming, "The best ******* ever man!"

While this is humorous, it is an interesting choice for the game, considering its playerbase is quite young. So, was this made by a PR person gone rogue? Or did Fortnite actually greenlight the idea and then immediately regret it?

At the moment, the game has made no comment regarding the video.
