Game mode

No teammates, but still want to compete in the upcoming Fortnite PlayStation Cup this April? Luckily, you will not have to find anyone to play alongside you.

The tournament is in solos mode, meaning players will have to compete with themselves and only themselves. It is also in the traditional Battle Royale mode, so be prepared to build.

This will require players to focus solely on themselves, as they will have no other players to support or support them. Focusing on fragging while also handling rotates can become extremely difficult, meaning you will have to take on the full responsibility for bringing yourself to the end game.

Solos depict players in ways that no other Fortnite game mode can, as this is easily the hardest mode to compete in. Make sure to spend plenty of time before the tournament learning your drop and more.

When is the next PlayStation Cup?

While we do know that the next PlayStation Cup is on April 29 and 30, 2025, we do not know when the next tournament will happen after these days. Usually, Fortnite spaces out their PlayStation cups by a few months, so it is more than likely that another one will happen this Fall.

Can other consoles compete in the PlayStation Cup?

Unfortunately, if you were looking to participate in the Fortnite PlayStation Cup, but do not have a PS4 or PS5, then you will not be able to compete. The cup is solely for PlayStation players, meaning PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and mobile players will not be able to compete.

Sometimes, however, Fortnite hosts a console cup, which includes all consoles. Players who do not own a PlayStation will just have to wait for one of these tournaments to pop up.
