Over 14 millions players tuned in to watch live performances by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD.

The Fortnite Remix: The Finale live event has concluded following weeks of build-up and anticipation. Featuring music from artists Juice WRLD, Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and Eminem, Epic Games unleashed a visually stunning experience. Sure enough, players worldwide showed out as the event surpassed a record-breaking 14 million attendees. This player count data stretches back two years, making it easily the most attended Fortnite event in that timeframe. Here's how everything went down.

Fortnite reaches a player count of 14 million during the Remix Finale event

Fortnite never fails to dominate headlines when hosting one of its cinematic events. The Juice WRLD live event was no different, with 14 million players attending the 20-minute spectacle. Epic Games strongly advised players to be early to solidify their spot in anticipation of a massive turnout.

An in-game tribute to the late Juice WRLD mixed with a trio of popular rap artists created an experience players weren't willing to miss. The 14 million player count figure only covers the last two years of Fortnite since that is when Epic Games made the information public.

As a result, it's unclear how that would compare to others, such as the game's various season-ending Chapter 1 events. However, the Juice WRLD event drew 2 million more players than the well-received Travis Scott concert, which managed 12.3 million eventgoers.

So, what happened during the event, and what's next?

Those who tuned in witnessed in-game performances by gigantic animated versions of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and finally, the Juice WRLD main event. Each had a unique component: Snoop Dogg in an amusement park, Eminem fighting a mecha version of himself, Ice Spice in a city setting, and Juice WRLD performing on a body of water.

Despite Chapter 6 launching on Dec. 1, the performing artists were the center of this event. However, Epic did include a brief look at the map of Chapter 6. Some aspects of the new season have already surfaced, but more will surface over the next day.

It is not surprising that Fortnite's player count drastically increased during the event. Since Epic Games announced the Juice WRLD collaboration, that has become the primary storyline of the season. There is plenty of crossover between the fanbases. It will be interesting to see how these numbers translate when Chapter 6 drops on Dec. 1.
