Fortnite OG Season 3 is rapidly winding down following its launch way back in March 2025, meaning Season 4 is right around the corner. Epic Games has already begun teasing the inevitable Meteor impact, which will leave Dusty Depot a mere Divot on the map.

Many remember this moment as one of the most significant moments in the game's history. With a new season just around the corner, this article provides a countdown to the Fortnite OG Season 4 while also outlining what you can expect when it arrives.

Fortnite players are roughly 11 days from the launch of OG Season 4, which arrives on June 8, 2025. The long-awaited Meteor will serve as the catalyst for the new season and all the changes that will follow. Dusty Depot will soon become Dusty Divot as the most significant adjustment.

However, the original Season 4 offered much more, including new weapons and perhaps one of the most infamous drop spots in the game's storied history. It's unclear whether Fortnite will enter a brief downtime period before the new season, but it's unlikely at this point.

Now that you know when to expect OG Season 4, let's cover some of the new additions you can expect.

Some genuinely iconic weapons and items in Fortnite history arrived during Season 4. The most noteworthy was the Shopping Cart, which led to many viral clips and moments from the game's top streamers. Although it didn't age very well, the Shopping Cart is expected to spawn in one of the upcoming updates.

For weapons, Epic Games introduced the Epic and Legendary versions of the Burst Assault Rifle, Thermal Scope Assault Rifle, Dual Pistols, and Drum Gun in Season 4. Other notable items include the Jetpack and Bouncer, which have become recurring items.

In addition to Dusty Divot, the original Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 4 marked the debut of Risky Reels. This point of interest (POI), while small, became the subject of torment for many. In one of the Season 4 updates, Epic Games launched a challenge where players had to search seven Chests at this POI.

What occurred in the immediate aftermath was an influx of players battling to complete the Quest. Those who conquered the challenge would receive "The Visitor" skin. Although there are other drop spot changes, Dusty Divot and Risky Reels are the most significant in OG Season 4.

The first two OG Battle Passes featured only remixed versions of Season 1 and Season 2 Battle Pass skins. However, Epic Games strayed from this pattern in Season 3, including a few remixed versions of skins that were available in the Item Shop.

As a result, it's challenging to predict what Epic has in store for the OG Season 4 Battle Pass. We could see a new version of Omega, but the other skins featured in this lineup are forgettable.
