Fortnite’s Valentine’s Day-themed ‘Love and Legends’ event has begun. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s included!
Valentine's Day has arrived in Fortnite with the Love and Legends event, replacing the South Park event that kicked off early in January. While not the same effect, there are some considerable additions in Love and Legends, from new in-game items to free rewards and even Fortnite x KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2.
This article explains everything you need to know during the event, which runs from Feb. 5 to Feb. 23.
Quick hits on the Fortnite Love and Legends event

- MK-Seven Assault Rifle, Rumi's Empowered Sword, and other items/weapons added to the loot pool
- Ten rewards granted to players who log in on ten different days
- A heart-shaped Storm Circle
- Unlock a free Back Bling in exchange for collecting hearts on the Island
- New KPop Demon Hunters collab, including 'Golden' and Jinu skins
- The Chappell Roan x Fortnite collab has begun
Now, let's dive a bit deeper into these changes in the Love and Legends event.
Loot pool and gameplay changes explained
Fortnite received a decent loot pool overhaul in Build and Zero Build modes. Perhaps the standout change is the reinclusion of the KPop Demon Hunters Mythic items, including the Spicy Ramyeon, Empowered Sword, and Bubble Shield. All three are decent items, especially the Spicy Ramyeon.
Other additions include the return of the MK-Seven Assault Rifle, Shockwave Grenades, and the Self-Revive Device. Epic Games removed Self-Revive and Shockwaves earlier this season, but they have finally returned.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning the Flowberry Mist Grenade and Lock-On Assault Rifle, both of which are completely new to the game. We've provided an image above with the stats for those two and the Mythic Empowered Cupid's Crossbow.
- Shockwave Grenade
- Wings of Icarus
- Mira's X-tra Spicy Ramyeon
- Rumi's Empowered Sword
- Flowberry Mist Grenade
- Self-Revive Device
- Tiger's Teleporting Mask
- Zoey's Bubble Shield
- Cupid's Crossbow
- Lock-On Assault Rifle
- MK-Seven Assault Rifle
How to earn free daily Fortnite rewards during Love and Legends

The Love and Legends event offers free daily rewards from Feb. 5 at 4 a.m. ET through Feb. 19 at 4 a.m. ET. Consistently logging in each day will grant you nine free level-ups and eventually the Sweetest Shot Loading Screen.

You can also acquire the Heartie Back Bling (pictured above) by collecting Candy Hearts spread across the map. This will be available in-game until Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. ET.
KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2 launches on Feb. 6
Last, but certainly not least, this event marks the launch of Fortnite x KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2. Ruri, Mira, and Zoey are back with new 'Golden' skins separate from the Wave 1 launch. Additionally, Wave 2 includes Jinu of the Saja Boys as a playable in-game character.
KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2 lands in the Item Shop on Friday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. ET with all of the skins depicted above and more. Also, on a separate but similar note, Chappell Roan's Fortnite Festival season has begun, so be sure to check that out in-game as well.
