Here is a breakdown of the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 trailer!

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless arrives on Friday, Feb. 21. Epic Games has prematurely released many details regarding the season, including the Battle Pass lineup and more. The developers unexpectedly dropped a cinematic Fortnite Lawless trailer, giving fans an idea of what to expect in the new season.

Here is everything we learned in the Chapter 6 Season 2 gameplay video.

New weapons spotted in the Fortnite Lawless trailer

As pointed out by HYPEX, various new weapons are present in the Fortnite Lawless trailer. The most significant of the bunch was a dual-wielded Shotgun and SMG, a new concept in Fortnite. While we don't know the name, it sounds like a lethal and potentially overpowered combination.

Another interesting weapon spotted in the video is a Plasma Burst Rifle. Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR explained that it "creates an explosion at the point of impact where you are aiming." These two weapons accompany the previously leaked Rocket Drill and an Electric Bat.

Chapter 6 Season 2 will feature Medallions once again. You can see two "Big Dill" Medallions in the Vault in the Lawless trailer. Last but not least is the previously leaked Mortal Kombat-inspired Sub-Zero Mythic. These will reportedly be Gauntlets that allow you to freeze enemies.

Here is a complete list of the weapons we could find in the trailer:

  • Dual-wielded SMG/Shotgun
  • Plasma Burst Rifle
  • Rocket Drill
  • Electric Bat
  • Mammoth Pistol
  • Sub-Zero Mythic
  • Sticky Grenade Launcher
  • Giant Explosive Llama
  • Thermite

New gameplay elements to expect in Chapter 6 Season 2

Armored Trucks and Trains are new additions based on the Fortnite Lawless trailer. Although trains have been in the game for a while, you can now enter trains for an unknown purpose. It's safe to assume they will offer more loot than before in addition to other features.

With this being a "heist-themed" season, Armored Trucks are essential. It's unclear if these have a more significant presence in the season apart from being a new type of vehicle. These were the two standout gameplay implications for the new season.

New Points of Interest (POIs) seen in the Fortnite Lawless trailer

A new Fortnite season wouldn't be complete without new locations, landmarks, and POIs. Leakers have pointed out two noteworthy drop spots: Gold Mine and Mansion. The latter is likely where the season's primary antagonist will reside.

Other interesting places include a pig restaurant, but we will learn the full lineup of new locations later this week.
