The team behind Honkai: Star Rail have provided more details about the Fortnite collab, including the specific skins and a release date!
Honkai: Star Rail is coming to Fortnite later this month. Epic Games previously teased this collab, with a formal announcement arriving via the official Honkai Star Rail X account. The teaser trailer confirmed that two characters will be playable when the collaboration launches, and you can even earn one for free.
Here's everything you need to know about the Honkai Star Rail Fortnite collab.
Blade and Kafka are coming to Fortnite on Feb. 26
This pricing aligns with the most recent Gaming Legend Series collaborations, which feature characters from games beyond Fortnite. For example. Scorpion from Mortal Kombat costs 1,500 V-Bucks, whereas The Scout from Deep Rock Galactic rang in at 1,200 V-Bucks.
As for the skins themselves, it's unclear how they will appear in-game. The image above appeared in the trailer alongside a disclaimer that reads "image is not reflective of the final outfit render." We'll have to wait to see what Kafka and Blade look like as we get closer to the release date.
Recap of details of the details
- Collab launches on Thursday, Feb. 26
- Will include Kafka and Blade skins with other cosmetics
- Skins could range from 1,200 to 1,500 V-Bucks
- The in-game renders have yet to be revealed
How to get the Blade Honkai: Star Rail Fortnite skin for free
Players who join the Honkai: Star Rail "top up event" in the Epic Games store will receive the Blade Outfit completely free. It's unclear what this entails, but Fortnite leaker Wensoing believes it requires you to play Honkai: Star Rail and purchase the game's currency, known as Oneiric Shards.
More details regarding the Honkai x Fortnite collab should emerge soon, including the in-game renders of the Blade and Kafka skins. For now, that covers everything we know.
