Bruno Mars is coming back to Fortnite as part of Fortnite Festival Season 9! Here are all the skins and cosmetics you can expect!

Early on June 17, we covered leaks that suggested R&B superstar Bruno Mars would headline Fortnite Festival Season 9 instead of Deadmau5, as initially reported. As of noon on June 17, Epic Games has confirmed this rumor, welcoming Bruno Mars back to Fortnite under different circumstances.

Epic Games has released a comprehensive blog post detailing everything players can expect in the next Festival season, which begins on June 18.

All Bruno Mars skins are coming to Fortnite in Festival Season 9

Like we covered in the story earlier this morning, Bruno Mars appeared in Fortnite alongside his Silk Sonic duo Anderson .Paak roughly four years ago. As a result, the rumors of another Bruno Mars collaboration seemed out of the blue. Regardless, that report has become a reality.

The 39-year-old singer and songwriter will be the headlining artist in Fortnite Festival Season 9. Bruno Mars' latest appearance features several different looks, ranging from a Brazilian-inspired style to a cowboy-inspired ensemble.

Firstly, let's cover the skins and other cosmetics that will be available in the Item Shop:

What's included in the Season 9 Music Pass?

As with every Fortnite Festival season, those who purchase the Music Pass can unlock another version of Bruno Mars. In this case, the ensemble depicted above draws from his appearance alongside Lady Gaga in the "Die With A Smile" music video.

Upon purchasing the Music Pass, you will instantly receive the blue suit Die With A Smile Bruno skin. You can also acquire the white suit Heavenly Style variant toward the end of the Music Pass.

That doesn't even cover everything. The Season 9 Pass also offers various free and premium rewards, the latter of which costs 1,800 V-Bucks, including Jam Tracks, Emotes, Instruments, and more.

The fan response has been mostly negative

As expected, many players felt misdirected by the various hints and leaks surrounding Canadian DJ Deadmau5. Instead, fans have defaulted to the fact that Bruno Mars was already in Fortnite. X user SparkyVEVO said adding new artists was part of the Festival mode's charm.

Others echoed a similar sentiment, while Bruno Mars fans voiced their excitement regarding the collaboration. The partnership officially begins on June 18 and will remain in effect until the conclusion of Season 9.
