A recent Fortnite x Poppy Playtime teaser confirmed when the collaboration will arrive and what you can expect!

Fortnitemares 2025 features more collaborations than any of the game's previous Halloween events. One that has piqued the interest of fans is a partnership with the survival horror game Poppy Playtime. Although it won't be as robust as the other collabs, Huggy Wuggy is coming to Fortnite later this month.

Epic Games recently released the first teaser for this crossover, which revolved around Huggy Wuggy. The clip cryptically confirmed when the Poppy Playtime x Fortnite collab will launch.

When is Poppy Playtime coming to Fortnite?

The teaser appeared on game developer Mob Entertainment's X account, offering a familiar aesthetic and vibe to the many Poppy Playtime fans. However, the release date wasn't readily apparent at first. After a rewatch, a single frame confirmed the collaboration will launch on Thursday, Oct. 23.

We expect all Poppy Playtime-related cosmetics to be available on that day at 8 p.m. ET during the Fortnitemares event.

What will this collaboration include?

Many leakers have already confirmed that the Poppy Playtime partnership will honor Huggy Wuggy in-game as a Fortnite skin. HYPEX later confirmed that Huggy Wuggy is the only character included. The cosmetics beyond this are a mystery, but we should learn more details over the coming days.

A Poppy Playtime-inspired loading screen did emerge during the recent Fortnite v37.40 downtime, giving a look at Huggy Wuggy with some notable Fortnite characters. Although this crossover is limited compared to the others, its success could lead to more characters down the line.

What else does Fortnitemares have in store?

As mentioned earlier, this is unquestionably the most collaborations and skins the Fortnitemares event has ever seen. Some of the other partnerships include Ghostface, Terrifier, Jason Voorhees, Scooby Doo, and K-Pop Demon Hunters, which is currently in-game.

So, if you're a fan of any of these IPs, this is the time to jump back into Fortnite as the annual Halloween event usually delivers a fun experience.
