Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3 officially has a release date, despite Season 2 not even starting. Here is what we know.
Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 1 has been a hit amongst gamers. However, despite Season 2 being just around the corner, an expected date for Chapter 7, Season 3 has been revealed. And it’s coming sooner than you think.
Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3 release date
Regardless, this is a rapid turnaround from Season 2, which is set to begin on March 4, 2026, meaning the season will only be 56 days long, making it one of Fortnite’s shorter seasons.
We have seen short seasons come and go in the past, but usually they are due to being special collaboration seasons, such as the Simpsons-themed season.
So, why would Chapter 7, Season 2 be so short? There really is no information regarding the upcoming season out yet, so players should continue to enjoy Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 1 while its out.
Additional leaks for the upcoming season
At the moment, there are no true leaks out regarding Chapter 7, Season 3, other than its release date. However, there are other collaborations in the works, such as a Chainsaw Man collaboration, which we could potentially see be released during Season 3.

All of this is speculation, though, and additional leaks regarding the chapter’s third season will more than likely not release until later in the Spring or Winter.
Do not be worried, though, because Fortnite sure knows how to keep fans on their toes, always giving them some sort of new and unique type of content. What are you hoping to see in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3?
