A new version of Fortnite star Clix’s Icon Series skin is coming soon to celebrate the upcoming FNCS Pro-Am tournament!
On the heels of FNCS Major 2, Epic Games has revealed another version of professional player Cody "Clix" Conrod's Icon Series collection. The "Champion Clix" Fortnite skin will soon be available for all to purchase, but those who compete in the Duos Reload Clix Icon Cup can earn it for free.
Whether you'd like to compete or spend your V-Bucks for Clix's latest Fortnite skin, where he sports an elegant purple FNCS-branded suit, here's what we know about Champion Clix.
Compete in the Duos Reload Clix Icon Cup for a free skin
Epic Games unexpectedly revealed another addition to Clix's Fortnite Icon Series collection mere weeks before the superstar will compete in person at the 2025 FNCS Pro-Am. This skin celebrates the upcoming event, as it will be unlockable via a tournament contested in the game's respawn-enabled 'Reload' mode.
Those who participate in the tournament on May 3 can win the Champion Clix skin before it arrives in the Fortnite Item Shop. You must pair up with a partner for this Duos competition, which is open to all players.
The Reload Clix Cup will be active for two and a half hours, during which time your goal is to earn points based on eliminations and placement. Once the tournament concludes, only the highest-placing teams will receive the Champion Clix skin.

- Victory Royale - 60 points total
- 2nd place - 53 points
- 3rd place - 49 points

How to compete in the Duos Reload Clix Cup
You can find the FNCS Clix Icon Cup on Fortnite's in-game 'Compte' tab, as shown above. There are a few rules and prerequisites you must meet before competing in any Fortnite tournament. We have broken those down below:
- Be 13 years of age or older
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Epic Games account
- Have an account at level 50 or above (you can check this on the in-game "Career" tab)
How many Duos will earn the Clix Champion skin?
Unfortunately, we don't know the precise prize distribution for those competing in the Duos Reload Cup. It's safe to assume that, conservatively, the top 20 teams in the more populated regions will unlock the skin.
However, Epic Games has confirmed that those who earn eight points will receive a cosmetic Spray to use in-game. We expect to learn more about the prize distribution in the coming days.
Clix celebrated this new version of his skin in the wake of his runner-up finish at FNCS Major 2, and it's definitely a skin that many "Clixsters" will want for their collection.
