Fortnite Chapter 4 is now live after a lengthy downtime. Chapter 3 introduced new aspects to the game, so it’s no surprise that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 followed suit with new weapons and items. Epic Games teased multiple weapons and items during the downtime to build anticipation. We officially have a complete list of everything in Chapter 4 Season 1. 

Let’s dive into this complete breakdown of the new weapons and items in Chapter 4 Season 1. 

What new weapons are in Fortnite Chapter 4?

Fortnite Chapter 4 has introduced seven new weapons, including two Rifles, two Shotguns, one SMG, one Pistol, and a Shockwave Hammer. Also, there is now a sword-shooting rifle in Fortnite Battle Royale.

We’ve also included images and the stats for each weapon below. The stats come from HYPEX and are all for the “Rare” version.

Ex Caliber Rifle

A semi-auto rifle that fires explosive swords at your opponent.

Thunder Shotgun

The new pump Shotgun in Fortnite Chapter 4. Like the Two-Shot Shotgun, it fires two rounds at a time.

  • Reload Time: 5.5

Maven Auto Shotgun

A fast-firing shotgun that deals less damage than the Thunder Shotgun but has better range.

Red-Eye Assault Rifle

An automatic assault rifle with a red dot sight, similar to the MK-Seven Shotgun but with a slower fire rate.

Twin Mag SMG

An SMG with a quick fire rate and a double-sided magazine.

Tactical Pistol

The Tactical Pistol carries a solid fire rate that should shred through your enemy efficiently.

Shockwave Hammer

A Shockwave Grenade harnessed into a hammer weapon. It allows the user to launch through the air, deal damage, and launch enemies and teammates.

Every new item & gadget in the new season

Fortnite’s OG healing items, such as the Shield Potion, Mini Shield Potion, and Chug Splashes, are back. Epic Games also added new healing items and gadgets to fill out Fortnite Chapter 4’s robust loot pool.

Slap Juice

Yields effective HP to a player and grants a temporary energy regeneration.

Slap Berries

Yields less effective HP and a lesser energy regeneration than the Slap Juice, but they are still helpful in their own right.

Sky Jellies

Like the bouncy Mushrooms in Chapter 3, the Sky Jellies boost you into the air and restore your effective HP. 

Hot Spots

New loot drones that fly overhead and drop loot when you shoot them down.
