The lawsuit revealed AdiraFNInfo to be a former contractor for Epic Games, working as a producer on Fortnite.

Epic Games has formally announced it has taken legal action against Fortnite leaker AdiraFNInfo. This individual, now known as former Epic Games contractor Hayden Cohen, prematurely revealed many planned Fortnite collaborations based on inside information. The leaker unexpectedly deleted their X account in recent weeks.

Now, it appears this case will head to court, with Epic Games seeking damages for partner relationships, diminished player engagement, lost profits, and more. Here’s what we know based on the court filing.

Everything we know about Epic Games’ lawsuit against Fortnite leaker AdiraFNInfo

AdiraFNInfo became an instant reputable name in the Fortnite leaker scene at the beginning of 2026. This individual, whose real name is Hayden Cohen, served as an Associate Producer on several projects under the Epic Games umbrella.

Despite signing a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) as a contractor, Cohen repeatedly leaked confidential information regarding Fortnite via Discord and their X account under the alias AdiraFNInfo. Some of those leaks came to fruition, including Solo Leveling, The Office, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, and 28 Years Later.

Others that Epic has not formally announced include Sonic the Hedgehog, Minecraft, and Kingdom Hearts. Based on the lawsuit, it’s safe to speculate that some or potentially all of AdiraFNInfo’s leaks were accurate to some extent. However, Epic Games and these presumed partners may have backed out as a result of these leaks.

Here are Epic Games’ allegations in the March 5 court filing:

“Hayden Cohen, a former Epic contractor who executed a nondisclosure agreement with Epic, repeatedly misappropriated Epic’s trade secret information and broadcasted it publicly through his anonymous social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Discord, operating under the alias “AdiraFN” and “AdiraFNInfo.” After executing the nondisclosure agreement and in order to complete assigned projects, Defendant was allowed to access Epic’s confidential trade secret information regarding Epic’s upcoming collaborations that had not yet been announced by Epic or its partners. Defendant betrayed his responsibility to keep the information confidential and breached his express contractual and legal obligations.”

The filing further alleges that this information was unobtainable by normal means, such as data mining, but rather Cohen gained this knowledge via his work on projects for the company.

Epic Games provided several examples in the court filing that AdiraFNInfo breached his contract with the company, including the Fortnite x South Park collab. The leaker revealed a cosmetic that had not yet been made public two days before Fortnite formally announced the partnership.

The counts Epic Games is suing Hayden Cohen over are as follows:

  • Trade Secret Misappropriation Under the Defend Trade Secrets Act
  • Misappropriation of Trade Secrets Under the North Carolina Trade Secrets Protection Act
  • Breach of Contract
  • Violation of the North Carolina Unfair Competition Law

The company demanded a jury trial, and damages will be determined during the trial, which has not yet been scheduled.
