Fortnite has begun featuring famous rapper Eminem on its in-game Icon Series radio station. Could this lead to a full-fledged collaboration?

Fifteen-time Grammy Award-winning rap artist Marshall “Eminem” Mathers silently took over an in-game Fortnite radio station in recent days. As a result, many reputable leakers have drawn attention to this information. Fortnite initially stayed quiet regarding the collaboration but has since directly addressed Eminem’s appearance in-game.

It’s no secret that Eminem is one of the most popular and best rappers of all time. Fresh off the release of Curtain Call 2–a “greatest hits” album, the artist has made an impact in Fortnite. Could something more be on the horizon for Fortnite x Eminem?

Eminem takes over Fortnite’s ICON Series radio station

Fortnite’s ICON Series is an in-game classification for celebrities and well-known content creators. Epic Games has welcomed many elite names into the fold; Ninja, Neymar Jr, Bruno Mars, J Balvin, Marshmello, and LeBron James are just a few. Undoubtedly, Epic knows no bounds in terms of who it can collaborate with for a Fortnite appearance.

Furthermore, the ICON Series sometimes features more than just in-game cosmetics. Several artists, including Ariana Grande, Marshmello, and Travis Scott, have prominently starred in their own Fortnite concert. Those events have drawn millions of in-game viewers. Many question what could be the next step for Eminem, considering how Fortnite has featured musicians.

Could an Eminem skin or concert be next?

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX caught wind of the Eminem crossover. Then, he delivered a list of songs that appeared on ICON radio. Naturally, many fans wanted to know if Fortnite and Eminem had more in store for fans as the summer and Chapter 3 Season 3 nears the end.

It logically might not make sense for Epic Games to introduce another significant collaboration following the highly-publicized Dragon Ball Super crossover. As a result, there’s a chance that nothing more comes to fruition regarding Fortnite’s apparent partnership with Eminem. Still, that doesn’t necessarily mean something could not happen with Chapter 3 Season 4, which is just a few weeks away.

HYPEX did note later that he has not heard of any cosmetic news regarding Fortnite and Eminem. However, we cannot rule out a potential concert or ICON Series appearance based on Epic’s history of working with celebrities.
