eFuse’s Women of the eRena (WOTE) makes its return with a $75,000 Fortnite event, where women content creators will have the chance to display their skill and compete for this coveted prize pool!

For the last WOTE Featuring Fortnite event, we invited team captains to build their teams and compete in Fortnite Zero Build. This time around we will be inviting captains again, but we’ll also be hosting an open qualifier prior to the main event! Anyone can enter the open qualifiers, but only the top placing teams will be brought onto the finals for their chance to earn a slice of the $75,000 prize pool.

We’re switching up the event format, so read on below for everything you need to know about the second WOTE event.

It’s your time to shine! Compete now in the $75,000 Women of the eRena Featuring Fortnite event

The second WOTE Featuring Fortnite consists of two parts: first is the open qualifiers on July 30th and second is the $75,000 finals on August 6th. The open qualifiers on July 30th will have 33 teams of trios competing for a spot in the main event. The top three teams from the open qualifiers will advance to the finals, which will be held on August 6th.

The main event will also have 33 teams of trios, with three of the teams coming from the open qualifiers and the remaining 30 teams will come from invited team captains. These teams will be made up of some of the most talented women in esports viewers won’t want to miss!

The events will be hosted on Fortnite’s NA East servers, but there is a twist: teams will be competing in six games, with three of those games played on Fortnite Zero Build and the other three will be played on Arena.

The swift change in game modes will not only make for an exciting dynamic, but will also keep these competitors on their feet. The move from Zero Build to Arena will allow for teams to show off different sets of skills, providing a thrilling experience for players and viewers.

The event will mimic the Fortnite Trios Cash Cup scoring format for all games. Signups are first-come first-serve, so be sure to tell your friends and enter the event!
