Reliable sources in the Fortnite have reported that a Devil May Cry collaboration is in the works.
Recent leaks in the Fortnite scene have drawn a connection with the beloved Capcom franchise "Devil May Cry." Interestingly, this potential collaboration first surfaced in December 2023 alongside Disney's Avatar film series. However, no additional details emerged until recently, and the Fortnite x Devil May Cry crossover could arrive soon. Here is everything we know.
Fortnite x Devil May Cry confirmed via inside sources
The newest Devil May Cry intel originated from Fortnite leakers Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing, who received the information from a "reliable source." As mentioned above, Nick Baker of the Xbox Era Podcast reported in December 2023 that this crossover would happen. With how much goes into these collaborations, the wait is not surprising.
However, not much is clear about what fans should expect. Based on previous video game collaborations, it's safe to assume the most recognizable Devil May Cry characters will become Fortnite skins. The shortlist of possibilities includes Dante, Nero, Trish, or potentially even the antagonist Vergil. More specific details will surface soon if the crossover launches in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

Could this be linked to the upcoming Netflix animated series?
Studios typically utilize these crossovers to promote an upcoming video game, TV show, or movie. In that case, the Devil May Cry Netflix animated series is worth mentioning, slated for release in April 2025. The most recent entry in the game series was Devil May Cry 5 in March 2019. It is worth noting that Epic Games and Capcom have previously worked together with the Street Fighter and Resident Evil.
With that in mind, the Devil May Cry crossover could also mean that characters like Chris Redfield, Ryu, and Chun-Li could return. The Street Fighter characters have not appeared in the Fortnite Item Shop since 2023.
If the Devil May Cry is to happen soon, as reported, more information should surface quickly. We'll be sure to update you with those details.
