Yes, you read that title correctly. The cult-classic game, Deep Rock Galactic, is getting an official Fortnite collaboration. This is a huge deal for the game, as Fortnite usually only does collaborations with the biggest franchises out there.

Here is what we know so far about the Deep Rock Galactic x Fortnite collaboration.

Deep Rock Galactic is coming to Fortnite

Revealed by various trusted leakers on Twitter and Fortnite itself, Deep Rock Galactic is officially coming to the world of Fortnite. While we are unaware of just what all the cosmetics coming to the game will be, we do know that the main dwarf seen on the cover of Deep Rock Galactic will be getting a skin in Fortnite.

This is known simply because Fortnite posted the skin and said the official reveal will be tomorrow (August 29, 2025).

So, does this mean that the skin will release tomorrow? Possibly. However, Fortnite could also just be hinting at a reveal first that will be posted onto their socials, with the actual skin(s) releasing in a week or so.

Additional information

Deep Rock Galactic is a first-person shooter game that was fully released back in 2020 after having a playable beta out for two years. In the game, you play as dwarves living out in space, with different gadgets and abilities, fighting off other players.

The game gained a cult following quickly and became huge on Steam. It is also playable on the Xbox One and PlayStation 5, making it easily accessible to most gamers.

However, this was not a game many would have ever expected to get an official Fortnite collaboration, surprising many gamers around the world.
