At Evo Las Vegas 2025, artists stand right alongside the players as a core part of the FGC. This is how the talented Rokoh, Onua_TF, and Cinamuffin bring their love of fighting games to life through art.

Every year, Evo unites the fighting game community (FGC) through intense competitions and developer booths galore. It also brings in a lot of talented folks who display their work at artist alley. Esports.gg visited this area and interviewed the artists of Evo Las Vegas 2025. These are the stories of RoKoh, Onua_TF, and Cinamuffins!

Artists of Evo 2025: Meet Rokoh

While browsing this year's artist alley, Rokoh’s booth immediately stood out with its bold artwork featuring franchises like TEKKEN, FATAL FURY, and Devil May Cry. Evo attendees lined up to browse through his collection and got their favorite pieces signed.

In his interview with esports.gg, Rokoh revealed that he first got into fighting games through BlazBlue. A series developed by Arc System Works, Rokoh said he fell in love with the game’s depth and characters.

"I just fell in love with that game," Rokoh said, adding that he first played as Ragna before switching to Hakumen. "And then after, I actually understood how to get better at it. It opened the doors a lot wider to every other fighting game out there."

As a lifelong artist, he soon began to dream about tabling at Evo because of his connection with more and more fighting games. His first Evo was last year as an attendee watching matches and enjoying being with people who shared the same niche interests. Then, his wish came true this weekend.

Elsewhere in artist alley was Onua_TF's booth that had lanyards, keychains, and posters galore. As BIONICLE fans, her branding called to us. Onua_TF’s fandoms ranged from BIONICLE, Mortal Kombat, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Sonic, and more. Onua_TF was away, but her spouse, Zen, talked at length about their shared love for fighting games and beyond.

While Onua_TF grew up playing classics on the PlayStation, Zen got into the scene through Dragon Ball and Super Smash Bros. They then became a devoted fan of competitive fighting games like Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom.

"We're big fans of fighting games," Zen said. "My wife grew up on a lot of it, and I still watch it religiously to this day. We just found out they had an artist alley, and this is a job we've been working at in regionals and ComiCons, so we were like, 'Why not apply?' And then last year, they accepted us. And then they just keep accepting us."

They continued, "The nice thing about working in these booths is the fun comes to us. We get to meet people and cosplayers. But the fun is just starting." Zen added that they’re excited about checking out the 2XKO booth and some versus fighting games.

How Cinamuffins turns passion into artwork at Evo 2025

Cinamuffins' booth in artist alley was impossible to miss. His merch featured Mortal Kombat, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, TEKKEN, and so much more. In his interview with esports.gg, he said that he first got into fighting games around 2009 through Street Fighter 4. Another key moment was in 2013 when a cosplayer introduced him to King of Fighters 13 and other SNK titles.

And then they just kept accepting us."

Although he doesn't have much time to compete nowadays, he still goes to and supports locals. He really enjoys Street Fighter 6 and wants to give TEKKEN 8 a shot.

"Art is where my home is right now, so I really enjoy drawing fighting game characters almost as much as I enjoy playing them," he said. "I put a lot of my [energy] into it. I’ve stacked all my efforts into that one spot."

That's all for now. Stick around on esports.gg for more interviews, news, and updates from across the FGC!
