How to add a friend to play with in 2XKO
There are two ways you can add a friend in 2XKO. We'll go over both of the methods here. One is by simply adding them from the friends list. The other is adding them by interacting in the lobby.
Friends list
- Load into 2XKO
- Press Tab on PC, or the corresponding button your console controller
- Navigate to the search icon
- Type in their game name and the tag that comes after
- Press R CTRL on PC to search
If the username doesn't exist, the game will tell you. Otherwise, their name will pop up right below the search and you just click it and select to add them as a friend in 2XKO.

From the lobby
2XKO has a lobby system that showcases your customizable avatar. You walk around and watch other fights happen, then take a seat at a cabinet to begin your own match. In that lobby, you can add anyone before or after you've played them:
- Approach a player or fight area
- If at a fight area or mulitple players are in one area, press T on PC to change your target
- When the player you want to add is selected, press J to interact with them
- This opens a list of actions, where you can select Add Friend
