SNK Corporation has announced Kenshiro a new DLC fighter in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves. The reveal was made at AnimeJapan 2026. Read on for Kenshiro’s teaser trailer and more.
Kenshiro FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves release date
On March 28, Kenshiro from the Fist of the North Star franchise was confirmed as an upcoming DLC character in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves. The announcement stated that he will join the roster in June 2026, making him another Season Pass 2 fighter alongside Wolfgang Krauser, Blue Mary, Kim Jae Hoon, and Nightmare Geese.
Similar to these fighters, unlocking Kenshiro in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves will require either the Season Pass 2 for $19.99 if players already own the base game or the FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Legend Edition bundle (Season Pass 1 + 2) for $49.99.

Who is Kenshiro in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves?
In FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, Kenshiro enters South Town with a commanding presence after surviving the end of the century. That is, he’s also not unfamiliar with fighting in a post-apocalyptic world affected by nuclear war. At the time of publishing this article, not much is known about what he plans on doing in South Town yet, but he does save a couple of characters upon his arrival.
Originating from the North Star manga created by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, Kenshiro is the successor of the Hokuto Shinken martial art as well, which likely means he will have moves related to it revealed later this year.
