A total of eight fighting games will be showcased at EVO 2023 Las Vegas. Here are the details.
The Evolution Championship Series (EVO) has revealed the game lineup for its much-anticipated fighting game event. Read on for the Las Vegas EVO 2023 schedule, game lineup, what to expect, and more.
EVO 2023 games
EVO will return to Las Vegas later this year at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Here's the list of EVO 2023 games that will be featured at the event.
- Street Fighter 6 - PS4 (Capcom)
- Guilty Gear -Strive- PS4 (Arc System Works)
- Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate - PS4 (Warner Bros. Games)
- Tekken 7 - PS4 (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
- The King of Fighters XV - PS4 (SNK)
- Melty Blood: Type Lumina - PS4 (Lasengle)
- Dragon Ball FighterZ - PS4 (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 - PS4 (Capcom)
EVO 2023 schedule and prize pools
The Las Vegas EVO 2023 event will happen between Aug. 4 and Aug. 6. In addition to the tournaments, there will be music showcases, panels, exhibitions, and community highlights. Meanwhile, fans and players will get to check out the Indie Fighting Game Gallery alongside the Arcade Stick Museum.
"This year, we’re establishing $25,000 minimum prize pools for each tournament in our lineup, and continuing our efforts to improve the EVO event experience for players and fans," according to EVO general manager Rick Thiher.

EVO 2023 Las Vegas lineup
In addition to the newly-launched Street Fighter 6, the EVO 2023 lineup will showcase Tekken 7 for its seventh time. As for Guilty Gear -Strive-, it will be featured for a second year. Fans will also get to enjoy Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 matches among others.
“We are excited to once again feature an incredible lineup of fighting games at Evo 2023 and are thrilled to be including our first Evo Throwback tournament with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3,” Thiher said.
The EVO 2023 lineup announcement also revealed Chipotle as this year's presenting partner. This will mean giveaways, mini pick-up brackets, a community lounge, and opportunities to win free Chipotle.
As players anticipate EVO Las Vegas, they can also look forward to EVO Japan. This event will happen between March 31 and April 2 at the Tokyo Big Sight venue.
