Riot Games has revealed some more details to the public about 2XKO missions. Read on for our quick guide on how missions work in the game and what they can offer to players.

2XKO missions explained

In 2XKO, you can complete missions to unlock in-game rewards such as Credits and Battle Pass XP. These missions reset on a daily and weekly basis, with a countdown in the game showing when the next reset will occur.

These 2XKO missions can be found under the "Progression" area of the game. In the Alpha Lab version, the page also shows you what level you are in the Battle Pass.

At the moment, Riot Games is adjusting how the 2XKO missions work as well. Therefore, how fast you can complete a mission, how often they get refreshed, and the rewards they grant may change down the line due to player feedback.

2XKO missions

  • Daily: Successfully use an assist 20 times in a matchmade lobby
  • Daily: Recover 500 health in a matchmade lobby
  • Daily: Land a special 30 times in a matchmade lobby
  • Weekly: Play 50 matches in a matchmade lobby
  • Weekly: Grab an opponent 50 times in a matchmade lobby
  • Weekly: Deal 100,000 damage in a matchmade lobby
  • Weekly: Use 100 ultimate meter bars in a matchmade lobby
  • Weekly: Get a 5+ hit combo 75 times in a matchmade lobby

Above are some examples of the game's daily and weekly missions from the Alpha Lab. For the weekly missions, it appears that each week brings a new set of three distinct challenges.

2XKO progression

In terms of why you should complete missions, they reward you with Credits and Battle Pass XP. As you progress further into the Battle Pass, you can earn rewards such as skins and chromas for Ahri and Yasuo.

In terms of Credits, you can use this in-game currency to unlock chromas during the Alpha Lab. Additionally, according to Riot Games, Credits can also unlock new champions in future playtests.
